*Asvape Zeta MTL RTA Basic Info
Asvape Zeta MTL RTA is 22mm wide and 41.8mm tall . It's a single coil RTA with ceramic base and ceramic heating chamber. It's also a top filling atomizer with adjustable airflow.
In addition, there are 2x 510 gold plated pins with different airflow options, one with 1.5mm airhole and second with 2.3mm.
-Design and build quality
Intricately carved company logo and overall look inspired by 17th century baroque style, make Asvape Zeta pretty little RTA. It's chamber is completely insulated from metal with ceramics, to aid taste and vaporisation.
-The Deck and the Set Up
Here you can see the postless deck for single coil build.
You can also see the ceramic part for the deck. There is one adiotional ceramic in the spare parts if you accidentally brake original.
Manufacturer recommends Asvape Zeta MTL to be used within 8-12W with 1.2-1.5ohm coils.
Deck is built for single coils with somewhat longer legs. The coil legs need to be longer than usual to drop into the deck through the ceramic base. They're made from non-resistant material, and coil itself seems to be made from heat treated kanthal, so it's the only part that has resistance.
Chamber is ceramic plated and it's 10mm wide and 8mm tall, but both the ceramic base and chamber can be removed. It can be further disassembled, to remove chimney from the tank. Easiest way to do this is to insert a coin into two indentations.
-The Top Cap and Filling
Top cap is a standard remove to fill. Grips on the cap and tank are a smooth fit, and cap has 2 indentations which relieve the pressure from screwing it on after filling.
Top filling is practical, but if wicking isn't set properly there's a possibility of it causing deck flood.
-Asvape Zeta MTL RTA Airflow
Asvape Zeta MTL has replaceable airflow 510 pin. It came with two 510 pins with 2.3mm and 1.5mm diameters. Airflow control is regulated with the outer ring, with distinctive clicks, but can also be positioned mid-click.
What's interesting is that even when the ring completely closes, the air vent it still has constant tight airflow if the ring is up. Asvape claims it intentional, to add to the experience with nicotine salts e-liquids and very tight MTL. As tight as it is, it's still very smooth, especially with ceramic chamber in.
*Vapefly Galaxies MTL RTA Summary
A very pretty RTA with promising specs. Due to it's size it paired well with most mods and I loved the look and quality of the engravings. Cigarette-style metal drip tip has a perfect 2.3mm hole for MTL . Vape is very smooth, with delicate taste, somewhat harsher if ceramic is removed.
All in all, Asvape Zeta MTL RTA is above average, but unfortunately it's 2.5ml capacity is a deterrent for me. We'll rate Vapefly Galaxies MTL RTA 7/10.
